Admission Requirements

Getting admitted to a university in North Cyprus is relatively straightforward compared to many other countries. Students generally need to provide:

• A copy of their high school diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• Passport copy
• A basic English language certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, or internal test by the university)
• CV and motivation letter for Master’s or PhD programs

Note: Many universities conduct online entrance interviews or provide their own placement tests for English.

  Almost all degree programs in North Cyprus — from Bachelor’s to PhD — are offered in English. This allows students from around the world to study without needing to learn Turkish.
